How do I report or remove a review that violates your guidelines?
Published reviews must meet TripAdvisor's guidelines,
and be written by genuine guests. If you believe a review has been submitted for the wrong listing or written by someone who did not stay at your rental, you can report it to TripAdvisor directly by going to your Reviews page:
-
Select the review in question and then Report a Problem.
-
Choose the reason why you’re reporting the review in the drop-down menu and supply additional information in the text box.
-
Select Submit. Your information will then be checked by our Reviews team.
If a review you report violates our guidelines or we determine there is something improper about it, we will remove the review. However, simply disagreeing with the content of the review is not sufficient to justify removing the review. TripAdvisor does not arbitrate or referee factual disputes.
We recognize that there are two sides to every story and we want members to hear yours. If you haven’t already done so, we recommend responding to all reviews, even if you disagree with the guest's feedback.
To respond to any reviews you receive, select Respond next to the review in your Reviews section. Your response will appear directly underneath the review, so travelers can read both perspectives. Responding to reviews not only shows you care, but travelers who feel acknowledged can often become repeat guests.
Please note: These reports are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and we can not guarantee that the review will be removed.
